At SAIDEEP, we manufacture a wide range of suspension magnets
and Overband magnetic separators. These magnets are widely used
to remove tramp iron mixed with the material moving on a conveyor
belt.
The magnets are manufactured in modular construction having tripolar
design with coil cores to match the conveyor belt width. The electromagnetic
coil is either made out of copper or aluminum wire with fiberglass
insulation. The coils are manufactured under rigid quality control
and are designed to withstand the rough tropical duty condition.
Suspension
magnets are suspended over a
conveyor belt to remove ferrous metal from the product being conveyed.
Electro and permanent magnet style are also available to meet
the needs of any problem. Suspension magnets are located over
the drive pulley. When the magnet surface starts to fill up, swing
the magnet away from the conveyor and cut the power ( in case
of electromagnet ) or use wiper arm to release the attached metal.

APPLICATION:-
The suspension magnet and overband magnetic
separators are used in mining industry wherein the material
is kept moving on conveyor belt. These magnets can handle large
volume of material and also big lumps.
The magnets are also use above belt conveyor
carrying coal to boiler. This ensures protection to boiler lining
resulting in its longer working life.
The magnets are used in chemical plants
and processing machinery to safe guard the equipment and reduce
down time.
In foundries to clean the sand.
In iron ore benefication industry and
steel plants to recover ferrous material which might otherwise
go waste.
MAGNETIC
PULLEY
Magnetic pulleyes are also used at the discharge
point of the conveyor to separate tramp iron from the product
moving on the conveyor belt. The pulley is particularly very useful
in iron ore purification to ensure broader working field. Pulley
is also used in conjunction with suspension magnet to efficiently
control the tramp iron removal. Magnetic pulley can be manufactured
using permanent magnets or electromagnetic pulley by using aluminum
or copper coils. Electromagnetic coils of magnet are fully protected
and sealed as these are normally used in open places and are subjected
to varying atmospheric conditions. Magnetic pulleys are supplied
complete with sealed bearing units on both sides and in diameter
and length to suit individual requirements.
Magnetic Chip conveyor
is used where the iron chips go with coolant and are collected
down at inconvenient location . The magnetic conveyer which is
totally enclosed can be lowered in the sump and chips are collected
outside in a drum or trolley. The top surface of the conveyer
is made out of stainless steel to stand constant wear. The conveyor
has high intensity magnets moving inside which bring all the ferrous
impurities out.
The conveyor is available in suitable widths & heights and can
be accommodated in any machine like broaching machine, Bobbing machine
and other special purpose machines.
